CLAY CUTTERS:

Each Cutter is designed in house using a 3D/CAD like design program.  They are printed with a 3D printer using a PLA+ filament which is both food safe and biodegradable.  Please note, these cutters are meant for working with clay products and should not be used by children as they are not a toy.

SIZE:  

The stated measurements are taken from the inside cutting edge of each cutter.  Please allow for a slight +/- variable which comes with 3D printing.  Please see measurement photo to get a more detailed idea of the cutter sizes.

CUTTING TIPS:  

Our cutters are made with a 0.5mm to 0.6mm tapered cutting edge so that they are sharp and minimal sanding is needed.  That being said some sanding may still be necessary.  Dipping cutters in corn starch, water or onto a soapy sponge prior to using will help loosen the cutter from the clay a little easier, esp. those with a more complicated design.  It is also helpful to make sure the clay is adhered well to the tile cutting surface prior to cutting out your shape.

CUTTER CARE: 

PLA will change shape under hot temperatures so please wash by hand in cool or warm soapy water.  If clay gets stuck in the small areas of the cutter, a tooth pick or pointed clay tool can be used to help remove.  Please store in a cool, dry area of your home and avoid sunlight. *DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER*

SHIPPING:

All Cutters are designed and handmade by me directly in house.  I have some Cutters in stock but most are made to order.  Please allow for 2-3 days for processing before shipment.  Shipping is done through regular letter mail, without tracking, to cut down on cost to you.  Please choose a priority option at shipping if you would like your package tracked.
